November 1, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This event is intended to introduce GMU students and faculty to the Elastos ecosystem and its growing community, the Cyber Republic. Any community members interested are welcome to attend. Pizza will be provided!

Elastos is a ground-breaking technology that features a blockchain-powered Elastos Network Operating System, allowing for the creation of the Elastos Smart Web – a more secure internet that addresses the vulnerabilities of the current internet by providing a decentralized peer to peer network, a safe sandboxed virtual environment to run applications and the blockchain capability for trust and authentication. There are great opportunities for developers and non-developers alike to contribute to the Elastos ecosystem – one of the most promising projects is building a whole new infrastructure for the internet.
